ROME — A 41-year-old man is accused of punching his girlfriend and breaking her eyeglasses, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Ronald W. Weaver, of Rome, was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at a residence on Floyd Avenue around 5:20 p.m. September 29. During the dispute, police said Weaver punched his girlfriend in the face, breaking her eyeglasses.
Weaver is charged with one count each of second-degree harassment and fourth-degree mischief, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
